Our experience was great all around. It is a small, family run resort, with very personal service. The owner Robbie took us out each morning and made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell he really wanted you to have a great experience. The fishing was slow the first two days, but he never gave up on trying to get us fish. He moved us to a different ice house on Sunday and an hour before we left we hooked a big one! My fiancée pulled up a 32.5" walleye! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone I know. I know we will be back as soon as we can!
First time we fished on the amazing Lake of the Woods. We took a four hour charter with Robbie and had a blast jigging for Walleye. Robbie is as good a conversationalist as he is a fisherman. We ended with a nice catch and it was sheer delight to watch Robbie masterfully filet the catch.
